Former Lane Player Signs For Arsenal |

The Club recently received the great news that one of our former players, Steven Smith, has signed Scholar forms for Arsenal Football Club.
Steven, who was with Long Lane from seven to twelve years of age, signed a two year contract.
Grandfather, Bob Smith a lifelong member and Committee member at Long Lane says that Steven deserves this reward due to the hard work and commitment he has put in.
Proud father, Dacre, who also played for one of the original teams at Long Lane in the early eighties, says the achievement is merited as well.
Steven's younger brother's also play for the Club as the Smith legacy carries on into the future!
Mick Northwood said the Club is always very proud of young players going on to achieve notoriety in the professional game and we are all proud of Steven's achievements. Mick said, however, he is still waiting for an Arsenal shirt to display in the clubhouse!
